Alright gents so a bit of an update on the base building operations;

Svergino area base is about 90% operational, as it currently stands there is a civilian tent stashed with gear (medical items, food, clothing items, survival / camping gear, arm bands, repair items such as sewing kits and duct tape and other odds and ends) as well as a blue barrel filled with some military kit (ammunition for almost every firearm in game except SP-6, 00 Buckshot and .308 Winchester, High Capacity vests, a Gorka helmet, weapon attachments including scopes and a 1911 with magazine and suppressor)

The current plan is to obtain another barrel or civilian tent and load that up with civilian and military weapons such as Magnums, 1911s, Glocks, AKs, Skorpions and MP5s etc etc so that when people inevitably die in a firefight, it will simply be a case of returning to base to rearm, resupply and get back into the fight to either secure the lost gear, or go fetch more. Players who wish to keep a stash of their own should obtain a barrel or tent of their own and place it in close proximity to the already established base (say within a 500m-1000m radius) with a note inside with their name written on it to avoid other players taking their hard earned loot.

As for the communal stuff already established, please feel free to take any items at your leisure, just keep a note of what goes out of the containers so we can replenish it as necessary. I will be formulating a map so people can access the base in game at any time without Sledge or I being present.

Progress on the secondary base south of Novodmitrovsk is still yet to go underway as we are solely focusing on pushing to get the main base of operations online as soon as possible.

Cheers...... Mako

Name your price on the SVD Mr Jig, I'll trade pretty much anything for it. I've been chasing one since 0.60 dropped and I got back into DayZ. I shall out it to good use by erm... ahem... "relieving" bambis of their cans of beanz on the southern coast  :ninja:

We could use the izurvive app again to mark our camp and position as it is quite easy to create a group. Haven't been on these days as I have been sick and I am getting ready for a star wars birthday party but should be around this weekend

Thanks Dek, Party was cool and I am a bit better, had a run and reached the Svergino base. Pretty cool I had to take somethings but left a pretty Winchester rifle ready to be used, also an mp5, I had a quick run down to the town and could not find a barrel but will look for one on the town north of the base.

Breaking Point mod is being made into a stand alone game (kickstarter) - I bet will be released before DayZ, and will be better.
