I am sure they will give D1 players a starting reward in D2 . . . a free shader

Seriously though I hope they announce dedicated servers for PvP in D2.
I just hope they decide to open a couple of more datacenters out of Nevada to improve connection but can't see that happening, they specifically chose Nevada due to its prime location, no extreme weather events are expected in the desert.
New character might get me back in, I feel like I have let my current one slide so much I can never catch up.
... last gen holding them back.
According to Bungie, sequels “represent the start of a new adventure for every player,” which means there needs to be new worlds and stories to tell. This also means new loot, powers and the like will be acquired. Because of this, power, possessions, Eververse-related items and currency won’t carry over from Destiny into Destiny 2.However, the studio plans to preserve character personalization of player Guardians. This means class, race, gender, face, hair, and marking selections for characters which have completed the Black Garden story mission and are at level 20 and above will carry over into Destiny 2.
Anyone know if its still going to be in the same style as d1? or if it will be more open world or anyhting?
They are going to change it to a point and click adventure...

Bring back the dinklebot! My main wish for d2, is just for there to be a lot more to do, and i'd really like a crafting system.

Looking forward to the reveal on Friday morning.
