Some would argue that we just slowly bringing D1 back, but itís more than that if you read carefully.

And some would say it still doesnt compare to what D1 was by the end of it.

The only thing that actually made me think, yep great! was this:

Quote
we are adjusting the rewards to ensure a Raid item drops from each major encounter.

But then I remembered.. this should've been how it was in the first place, as it was in every single other raid in D1, and can just be added to the 'too little too late' list for me.

Raid specific perks sounds good, but of course need to see how it is implemented in the game. Clearly changes are needed, will have a read

Yeah this is one thing I don't get. How did things that worked in D1 just stop working or not get transferred across? My guess all along was the 'Eververse lean' didn't fit in with the D1 world so D2 had to not include them.

Spaz's excitement permeates through space and time and draws in all those around him.. or something :troll:

I want D2 to be Great Againô but its just been 1 cluck up after another so far and these little changes, whilst puts them on the right path, don't solve a lot of the fundamental issues I have with the game. I should've just held out until the next full price DLC comes out and (re)brought it then.

Can finally replace the generic dance with an awesomer dance move. Two awesome dancing emotes equipped at the same time  :afro:

Yep, can't wait for the awesome dance parties in the tower, in 12 months time. Except I don't have any cool dance emotes  :-\\

Faction Rally has started. New problem evident.

Faction rallies are available for everyone who bought the base game (not just those with DLC which was the original plan). New weapons included in the faction rally are marked with the DLC symbol, but are not dropping for anyone. I assume they are meant to drop for those with the DLC.

Edit: bungie have clarified

They clarified that new FR weapons are not part of engrams drop.  They come in the form of faction winner reward (the one you can purchase at the end of that faction won).

At the end of each event, the previous event weapon will become available as a FR engrams drop.

So it means, first event, no weapon drop, 2nd event, you have a chance of getting that 1 weapon from previous one.  And so on, at the last event (5th), there will be 4 previous event weapons available in the engrams drop.

For me, this effectively means donít bother with FR until the last event before season ends.
(Couple with the lost sector chest cool down lock out).

They just canít seem to get things right can they?

Edit: I will do the same thing, pledge to all three factions using my three characters, play enough on each to get one engram to register for the event. And thatís it, wonít bother.

Edit2: hereís a link to the response

Bungie  :grave:

Yeah not so much with this one. I think the hype train is getting views/likes so these blokes are running with it. Nothing new with this type of timed grinding.

Still Bungle haven't handled anything very well in D2.

Yeh this is getting blown out of proportion. Just because people datamined the pc files and are now disappointed they have to wait for loot to be released doesn't mean bungie fucked up in this case. Rather, everyone just wants to shit on them for the hell of it and/or to generate revenue for themselves
