Dirt Rally VR. Incredible. Get it. Nuff said.

I'm waiting for RE7 to be discounted since I have so many things to play at the moment anyway, but it's great to see 2 full AAA 'normal' games being successful in vr. Hopefully other Devs recognise this to

I'm on dirt every other day, but after my poor effort on it last night I'm taking a break lol

But yeh, happy to do the mp. I don't really like it that much (it's circuit racing target then rally) but it could be worth a laugh.

Dirt is by far my most played VR game to date, it's awesome, but don't think I've seen anyone else on it.

Have any of you tried 3d movies with the headset?, if so can you recommend any good ones?.
I've never watched a 3d movie before so interested to see how it is.

Ok, I will have a try tonight.  Maybe "Despicable Me", it has some really cute 3D in it.

I've been wondering this too. I don't have any 3D TV's except for my 24" 3D Sanyo which I use as a monitor on my PC so if the VR headset is a replacement for a 3D TV then I'll definitely bump it up the list. Would love to watch Avatar in 3D again if the VR headset has a real good sense of depth.

Ive tried youtube and littl star and the other ones but the problem is theyre all too grainy, was wondering if the blu rays would be the same.

I have one or two 3D blu-rays so it shouldn't be an issue to test.

So, based on a sample of two: "Despicable Me" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" I have a mixed impression of 3d on PSVR.  First, the good, the 3D rendering is probably the best I have ever seen, including theatres and IMax.  The depth and separation were first rate.  Now, the not so good, motion blur was terrible, seasick terrible.  It may not be much worse than on the TV, I will have to check, but because it is so close and the screen moves with your head it was really noticeable.

Oh, and the typical screendoor effect was there as well and, as per most VR content, was more or less visible depending on the media content.

What would I choose to watch a 3D movie on at home: 1) Viera passive 3D; 2) Samsung Active 3D (except the glasses are always flat); and 3) PSVR.

Cheers for that ant.

Yeah my only problem with the headset is the screen door effect, and its why i cant watch the vr movies and stuff - perhaps ill give the blurays on the headset a miss

Just to contradict me, my son watched Fantastic Beasts last night and really loved it.
