Demo was up last night so I played a few games on top player difficulty. Did not score any easy goals through the middle.

Goalkeepers ruined the game for me last year, and they are much better now. The animations are a bit strange sometimes but the important point is they stop shots.

Passing the ball feels great. Facing in the direction you want to pass will result in a crisp fast past, having to pass at an angle to the direction you are facing will make the pass slower. Players will put natural curve on passes, especially for through balls. Crosses also have curve on them this year.

Pace of the game is still too fast for my liking so I play on -1 speed. This seems more realistic.

The gameplay felt great. I played around in the Strategy part and really customised how I wanted to play.
My first game

Nice goal by iniesta Rossi. What difficulty did you play?

I am also enjoying the demo a lot. The only thing that could spoil the game for me would be a repeat of last year's "roster gate".

The replays are a bit blurry sometimes - I wish they would remove that aspect as it is clearly a design decision.

End of game highlights from first 4 games included below. All on "top player" difficulty which is second hardest

If you jump to the 5 minute mark you will see an awesome goal (mess I) and assist (neymar) that the AI scored against me.

I played on the default difficulty, I couldn't find where to change it (maybe since I had started the game)
Konami know they let the ball drop last year with rosters and supposedly will be on top of it. Even looks like the demo will get a roster update on launch.

:hot:A few more match highlights. Tevez scores a nice goal in there somewhere (0:35).

Nice goal from Torres at 2:55, and the goal at 5:25 felt nice as it was blasted into the net.

Some good goals and was nice to see the keepers looking more realistic...even a nice punch to clear from Cech. Didnt see many of those in PES16!

Good to see the AI scoring great goals.

I have noticed the AI also taking long shots (which rarely happened in pes2016).

I am enjoying the demo still. Goalkeepers are reliable now and can make double saves at times. Very few goals come from ridiculous angles this year.

An interesting observation seen in the demo. AI Teams play the same way against any opposition, no matter if they are a strong team or very weak team - attacking and defensive mentality changes are exactly the same in both cases.

Some nice goals there.
Muller is a gun, I always put him as the Target man over Gomez.
The keepers and ref's are both improved, really looking forward to it.

You will be able to download all the kits and stuff for free, but need to manually import to each team.
Or you can purchase the option file for a small fee, which is just imported and gives you everything.
(I bought the option file, msg me if you are interested)

There will also be free option files available on other sites, but may be less comprehensive.

$9 will save a lot of hassle imo

Any kit templates available so I can design my own personalised kit for myClub? I assume same template specs as last year.

yeah, it is probably the same base template - can't imagine they would have changed it. i assume pes universe is just guessing it is the same template for now.

now i just need to get some photoshop skills......

Really like the River Plate home strip in the demo, might just use that and put my own logo on it.
