Option file importing confirmed in this twitter video
https://t.co/Bwcn8054W4

Is that actually a video? I am only seeing a photo on phone browser.

Anyway, good to have some proof as it's had to believe Konami sometimes (not just Konami, many game devs).

I also preordered digital - I don't expect the disc version to have much resale value (especially if my Club is free to play again). Waited until today to do so.

The game has broken street release date in some countries. The English commentary has not improved much at all from what I have seen, despite what PR guys at Konami say.

I may actually try myClub this year due to the lure of classic players. Maradona is the player to get.....

PES Universe option file news

Files should be imported after the konami first patch - which may drop on Thursday (but can also be used before the patch - just you will have to import again after patch).

It is not as simple as importing 1 option file as PR guys had led ppl to believe - you must import data 1 team at a time (one import per team). Premier league may take 20 mins or so.

Pes Universe files will have English leagues ready for release day. New leagues (bundesliga) will come in future updates - as each individual player must be created.

Hmm....so TTB was incorrect. All importing can be done at once if it is all organised properly.

Good news, hope TTB was just mistaken and that PES Universe option file is done this way.

Maybe the first time it was done, needs to be imported manually. But then the person who does that, can export the option file to these .bin files ?
It looks like each bin file is for a team, and includes all the team details (eg link to the correct kit in the same folder)

Then competitions need to be done manually.
I got that from pesgaming.com  a great pes dedicated forum thats been running for years. Better than the new pesuniverse.com forum.

Will be interesting to compare the option files.

Where is that option file in the link from? Is it official from a site or just from one person?

Nice to have it ready as a stop-gap until more option files are ready.

Do you know if it has any roster update included?

Also, did you get you PES Universe option file emailed yet?

Sounds like no roster update on that option file. Hopefully official roster update comes on Thursday or at least within 1 week.

That maybe gives me some time to start my Club.

Sounds like you will have a silver membership at PES Universe @M-Rossi - will you request a custom kit from them for your my Club?

I built my own kits for 2016 so probably just use that. But ill look at what they offer.
Pes changed it's live stats so this year it doesn't have to be done via data pack, but can be done via live updates weekly (basically whenever they choose to).
They are aware of their error last year and will have day 1 live updates on transfers and stats etc

Checked OfficialPES Twitter: roster update on our release (15th) - day 1 for us but day 3 for NA.

This is a quick summary of PES2017, like a short review but mainly focusing on the positives. Tactics matter and change the way teams play - which is one thing that provides variety in PES and which can't be found in Fifa. Individuality of players is the other standout feature.

@SmashedPumpkin I had the worst luck with my MyClub agents.
I had all the pre order bonus, veteran bonus and digital bonus, ended with this

It's not completely bad @M-Rossi . Can probably play some midfielders out of position to be stronger. Problem is only 1 decent striker who is only a loan.

My problem is the only defender I got is a RB, so I'm stuck with 58-61 ovr CBs.

Used up 2 scouts and got players of 55 ovr.

In these modes I don't like the varying game difficulty. You get out of touch when you play on easy levels.

So far I just played a couple of games vs com, and 1 tournament vs com (the first one). Managed to win with my original squad (61 ovr and lower) because of the preset difficulty.

Have not done the maths to determine in which tournaments I can use better players - in terms of contract costs. Messi is my most expensive contract and will probably seldom use him.

Here is the list of players I got from pre-order bonuses and beginning agents:

K. Honda AMF 72 (lvl 1 so will get better)
V. Mannone GK 75
Nelson Semedo RB 79
Andre Gomes AMF 79
E. Dier DMF 79
J. Cillessen GK 80
R. Falcao CF 80
Now for the good part.....
M. Gotze AMF 83
J. Rodriguez AMF 86
Loan: T. Muller SS 88

And to top it off....
L. Messi RWF 94

Nice little skill touch there. I have not been scoring good goals yet. So many of my shots go wide - don't know if I am doing something wrong when shooting. If it's not wide then gk seems to save almost every shot.

Really putting a lot of working into my master league team. Still with rated 66-71 players and 52 team spirit makes it hard to play! There is some quality youth I hope to see flourishing after a few seasons. Just signed a youth regen age 16, Brazilian rated 75 SS with half a dozen skills! 1.1 million salary.

Still getting used to advanced shooting. It makes for some nice shots, but also some silly misses when not concentrating.

I had lobato in pes2015 as a 16yo also. Nice heel flick for a goal - I havnt seen any of that myself.

In my master league I am moving up the table on top player difficulty. A record of something like 10 5 5. Some games I have won 3-0.

My first goal compilation, one really great goal in there
