Loving this game. Dialogue, story and characters are all great. The main battles are epic.  Will probably get the season pass

Yeah, I really got back into this weekend.  Told my wife I was just going to finish a quest... About four hours later, finally did.  Kept getting sidetracked.

I've just finished this, about 144hrs game time and it was great. I still had 70 odd undiscovered points of interest in Skellege but it would have predominantly been treasure, by that stage I had 100k crowns so there wasn't any point going after it.

I got about 70% through this game, putting about 100+ hours in and haven't picked it back up since ESO came out. One day soon...I hope.

Haven't checked how many hours I put in, but I finished it on normal mode last night. Without spoilers - Did not like the ending I got! Going to replay on Death March and make sure I get a better ending this time.

Still haven't finished this, about 70hrs in, looks like it was good to wait though as the upcoming patch looks fantastic:

Quote
*A new, alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt.

*A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player's map.

*Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight.

*Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out.

*Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory.

*Alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams can be "pinned", meaning all components and ingredients required to make them will be conveniently marked in the Shop panel.

*Dozens of fixes for quest related issues, both major and minor.

*A few performance enhancements, including the optimization of FX, scenes and general gameplay.

*Various improvements to horse behavior.

A stash to store goods and no weight for crafting mats is excellent news.

I love the storage stash feature as well. I was running around looking for a storage stash like they had Witcher 2 but then gave up obviously. So I did the next best thing, dropped it somewhere memorable and close to fast travel location and go and pick it up if I needed it. So far no one stole my stuff  ;D ;D

Witcher 3 Expansion Almost the Size of Witcher 2

http://www.gamereactor.eu/news/329274/Witcher+3+expansions+%22almost+size+of+Witcher+2%22/

Makes me glad I got the season pass now...

Between the improvements from the last patch and the new content from the expansions it's going to be very replayable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

It was the first time in quite a while that I was hooked on a game.

If this wins GOTY, it'll be thoroughly deserved.

I ended up getting one of, if not the worst ending (which was disappointing as that wasn't how I wanted the adventure to end).

Regardless, after pouring over 100 hours into the game, I don't feel the need to start over, as I did most side-quests on the first playthrough, so not sure the game has much more to offer me.

That may change when the expansion/s come out though.

So, my horse definitely has a mind of it's own...

Also, going back to Smashed question about enemy levels, even the ones with the skulls next to them doesnt mean you can't kill them, it's just recommended to avoid them. Last night as a level 15 I took out 2x level 22 wolves that had skulls next to their names. In saying that I used all my potions and I think they chased me halfway across the map, killed several peasant on the way too lol

Agreed about avoiding monsters with a red skull in their name.. I was collecting some Witcher gear the other day and a level 14 Wyvern was guarding a treasure chest with the last piece needed to complete the Griffin set. My character was only level 8 at the time. Very messy, consumed all swallow potion and food I had.. took about 10 minutes to finally kill it. YOLO

Hell yeah that is awesome! Was actually searching everywhere for a real life Gwent deck while playing the witcher. And Lucky I couldn't top up my psn wallet- means that I couldn't purchase the expansion pass yet. Take my money!!!!!

since this first expansion comes with monster and Scoiatael deck, I assume the second expansion will come with the nilfgaard and northern realms deck?

I've only played Gwent at the near start of game where you sort of had to do it. Had no idea what I was doing but won! I have not played Gwent since. But everyone tells me its good fun, so might give it a good attempt next time.

Once you get the hang of it and build a good deck, its so very addictive

That's what I'm on at the moment and your going to need the time, its a big game unless you just do the main story missions. But I've found 99% of the side missions that i have come across
are really good and interesting. Specially if you want to be able to craft superior stuff.
