So keen for this, looks fantastic. Hopefully there will be at least a John Marston easter egg.

Yeah it was pretty good. We had some good times riding our cows and throwing dynamite at each other as a WpR posse  :P

Will definitely be on the lookout for special editions as I missed out on golden guns, deadly assassin outfit and warhorse in the original and regretted it. I know these items get superseded thru the game but they were good value up the start. Deadly assassin outfit also reminded so much of Lee Van Cleef.

Delayed until Oct 26

Yeah I was looking forward to this but R-Stars attitude to loot boxes is worse than EA and Bungie combined.

Are the loot boxes only in MP?

They do sell currency in GTA Online but everything is free and able to be worked towards if you're not lazy whereas EA and Bungie believe in the RNG system of lootboxes which is cancer.

Yeah not so much loot boxes, but microtransactions. Whilst GTA Online isnt quite pay to win, some of the things are so ridiculously expensive that it would be tempting for people to drop cash for their quick fix.

I have fond memories of RDR's online.. standing high on a rock watching out for cougars as a mate hunted animals.. only to be jumped from behind by the damn cougar myself.. those things were quick.. and having some epic shoot outs across the map with randoms. Hoping that RDR2's MP is worthwhile

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.

Holy moly, that in-game footage looks great. There is something strange about R* body models, but everything else is mouth watering.

Save me from the hype

Spaz don't know. Spaz is on the 'ban the loot boxes' train and R* have said they are going in full tilt! Spaz loved the first one but might not get this!

I would expect the loot boxes or cash cards to be in the multiplayer part of the game only - like GTAV

Gtav made over a billion dollars in lootboxes, so it's most likely going to be in there. They probably just won't officially sell the game in Belgium or Norway due to the gambling laws.

As far as I know GTA V did not have lootboxes at all - it was all shark cards (buy in game multiplayer cash with real money). This type of system is not affected by gambling laws.

lol shark gambling FTW  :P

I expect the EU to ban loot boxes once a few countries do it. It's how EA handles the FIFA cash cow will be the telling tale. I say sucked in for being Derek's.

I want to get the ultimate edition, but can't decide whether to give my money to EB who I despise, or Sony who I also despise. First world problems  :(

Not on PC........YET

Surely will come later for the double-dipping.

I will be getting it on ps4 for sure for the single player - I expect the multiplayer to be awful in terms of monetization

Yeah I'll definitely pick this up on PS4. I actually enjoyed the MP in the first one quite a bit, but I imagine this time around it'll be far more GTA:O like.
