I bought this and have been playing it a little on my work pc, soon ill install it on my gaming pc.
The game has a really good mix of survival, exploration, crafting and building.
It is really fun and there is a heap of cool lets plays to watch.

Frankie is always my favourite:

Markipliler is alright, but can get annoying, but shows all aspects of the game

Jack is similiar to markipiler

Damn it's hard to stop being an instructor, I wanted to tell that diver to stop swimming with his arms.

This game is so good! I can't wait for full release when the story is added. (Im avoiding spoilers and still fairly early game even with 20 odd hours in)

The developers have a fantastic roadmap and are so open with the development schedule. They are currently taking players feedback for small things to be added into the game as the final aspect before launch in jan 2017. Subnautica developer forum

For those who played NMS, subnautica is so much better!

Don't tempt me Rossi >:( ;D I've always wanted this game but I'm very picking about my Early Access purchases.

i kept hearing about it especially in NMS discussions, its partly the final motivation i needed to build a gaming pc and get back into pc gaming (after a decade of only console gaming).
I haven't played other Early access games before but from reddit and the subnautica official forums it was always highly recommended as a survival/exploration game and considered to be quite polished for an Early access game. Mind you there is optimisation and polishing needed but its close to full release (jan 2017).
If you have other games to keep you busy then wait but it's definitely worth considering at release.

Note: Those who buy Subnautica in Early Access, when the full game is released, will get

Cute Fish
Quote
The Cutefish will follow the player around, darting in circles and letting out various chirping noises.
Basically like a pet in wow / skyrim.
Quote
The Cutefish will be able to interact with the Player, able to perform various actions, such as "high fives"[1] or "cuddles

Looks ok but of course would rather play when finished. There have been some good crafting games in the last 5 years so hopefully won't be burnt out before trying it.

Definitely worth playing once released.

I forgot to post this the other day, i was just sitting minding my own business in my seamoth sub, and a reaper scared the shit out of me.

Subnautica official v1.0 release delayed until Jan 2018
Trello Roadmap
Steam Page

I have been hanging out to play more of this for so long. Bought it early access a long time ago, sunk 30 hours into it (no pun intended!) and have left it so I can experience it as fresh as possible as the full release game.

The developers will unlock some parts of the story tomorrow on full release.
So many new people just getting the game  now and loving it. I have managed to not play it for a year so looking forward to playing through this in a fresh run.

I have enjoyed playing this since its full release

Something uncomfortable about being 500m deep, away from my sub and seeing these guys outside while running out of air
