Normal weekly reset. The guy who normally puts the really great reddit post about all the best things to get was delayed by a day or so this week.

Yes you did. Took me about 3 hours to install and download the updates yesterday, but I am all set to group up. Does the Outbreak global event finish on the 5th Oz time or??

Assault global event this weekend.
This is from reddit.

The Modifier of Assault revolve around more/less damage from NPCs over long / short distances. The positive Global Modifier gives you a strong damage buff when you are close to the NPCs and when you activate Crucial Assault or Major Assault they will do a lot more damage when they shoot from far away.

Assault (Global Modifier)
Always active; All Agent damage is increased at close range.

Crucial Assault (Only active in the Assault Playlist)
Assault behavior, plus all enemy damage is increased at longer range

Major Assault (Only active in the Assault Playlist and only for groups)
Crucial Assault behavior, plus Agent damage increases when close to team members, enemy damage increases when apart from team members.

Sounds like fun, shotguns will be great to use plus m4's and smgs. If only I had a house or showstopper. Bullfrog will have to do.

I think it starts Thursday around 7pm

Spaz is only lvl 16. Finding it slower to lvl up now. Any pointers on big XP gains?

Tried the dark zone when Spaz was lvl 11 and lets say the door opened and Spaz's head was shot back through  :P

The fastest way without having is run you through mission on wt5 is to follow the safe house quests. If you do the side missions plus main missions in each zone, plus encounters you'll hit 30 with one zone still left.

Finding gear with exp from kills also helps.

Wow good job. Iíve barely had time this weekend which is just bad timing but hopefully I can get some time in tonight. Think I only need one more piece for strikers, mask if I remember right.

I'll be going to Bruno Mars tonight so hopefully will get some more time tomorrow night.

You still do a massive amount of damage - what spec are you running?

I need the new patch with the easier access to div tech so I can optimise..

Ninjabike build with 3 striker, 1 lone star and 1 nomad. High stability and a perfect m4 with responsive, destructive and predatory in the free slot. High amounts of enemy armour damage and damage to elites.

I was using the bullfrog today which is like a famas, really high fire rate for an assault rifle. Itís special talent is 15% more damage, which is reduced when any mods with stability or accuracy are on it. It wrecks, especially up close when you donít worry too much about the recoil.

Other then that I just try to build striker stacks against any heavy first, and then clean up the rest after.

Gotta give that a try, I have the ninja backpack too.

Havenít come across a nice m4 yet though.
Got MDR the other day and itís so strong but but but itís not auto..if only itís a full auto..

This is the guide I followed for the build from reddit.

EAD is enemy armor damage
DTE is damage to elites
HOK is health on kill

This build plays aggressively in the face of the NPCís utilizing cover when needed. The high Firearms shreds NPCís while the moderate Stamina helps survive a few extra shots. Predatory combined with HoK and a kill every 5 seconds gives an average of 6.75% healing per second. This is the same as Classified Striker with 6K Stamina having ~56 stacks or 9K Stamina with ~40. This hits harder and the healing starts stronger, but classified can out heal it becoming a tank. This build doesnít need to tank if thereís nothing left shooting at it. Target the heavy first to build stacks, then mop the floor with the rest. Medkits and Overdose are for emergency situations when Recovery Link is on cooldown (medkit first, overdose second, then another medkit as required to find cover). Speaking of which, if Recovery Link is down, swap to the secondary weapon to farm it back with Determined. Smart placement of Flame turret will provide crowd control even with its low health and damage.

Gear

3x Striker, 1x Nomad, 1x Lonestar, 1x Ninja Glue
Note: Iíve used Sentry over Lonestar, but havenít noticed a large difference in accuracy, I do however notice the difference in ammo
~8K Firearms / ~4K Stamina / ~2.8K Electronnics
Chest: EAD, HoK, ammo
Mask: EAD, DtE
Knees: health, DtE, burn and shock resistance
Backpack: stability, burn or shock resistance
Gloves: AR damage, HoK, EAD
Holster: reload
mods: purple DtE mods
perf mods: first aid self heal
Weapons

Primary: LWM4 with Destructive, Responsive and free Predatory modded to stability followed by headshot damage. Stability ensures my gun isnít moving so that it builds stacks.
Secondary: LWM4 with Responsive, Destructive and free Determined modded like the primary.
Note: Moving 1 firearm roll to electronics to use Ferocious instead of Responsive hits as hard as the current build does when you are further than 10m from your elite NPC target (weaker vs anything else). This means that sometimes it hits the same, most of the time it doesnít hit as hard, as such I find these talents superior.
Skills and Talents

Overdose First Aid, Flame Turret, Recovery Link
On the Move if you kill in the open a lot or Steady Hands if you use cover a lot, Precision, One is None, Critical Save

I think classy striker will always beat that ninjabike build. This build is just for those of us who have been unlucky.

All the caches I opened yesterday gave me classy strikers, but not the piece I needed. I have 2-3 of every other slot other then mask.

Loving classy striker. Hit the grind hard (52 caches, 17 hours 29 mins) for Reclaimer gloves but it didn't drop. Can't complain though as a full striker set is probably more important :)
