From what I read previously, they have to wait at least two years before resubmitting and there is a cost involved.  I doubt that many, if any, previously rejected titles or refused classification titles will be resubmitted especially if the developer/publisher has already released a modified version to the domestic market.

I have the uncut version of L4D2....I've seen video's of the cut version and feel the uncut version is 10 x better..

My understanding (which could be completely wrong) was that the games can still be sold. The fact that the law hasnt been passed meant that if a retailer was to sell it to an under 18, the retailer could not be fined or penalised or anything - basically the law couldnt be enforced because.....there is no law.

If i am right, i think retailers are just covering there asses at the moment

Either way, its pretty stupid it hasnt been passed yet

Nah, just been a tad busy sacking 1000's of people from public servant jobs.

Parliament starts again this week, and this is one of the pieces of legislation that is to go through.

It actually passed through Parliament a few weeks ago, with today the effective date.
