I havent finished hl1 or 2. Should i play the first then 2nd? Then is it hl2 episode 1,2 then lost coast or something?

Half Life is a brilliant series, so i would recommend playing 1 then 2. Although you could get away with skipping 1, the stories are linked and i think it would be worth it.
I keep meaning to play HL2 and Ep1 again so that i can play Ep2 (never played it on PC back in the day) but i find it hard to get in to again coz it kind of sux on PS3.

Lost Coast is a level that was cut from HL2 and then became a bit of a tech demo. It is definitely worth playing, and can really be played any time after you start HL2. I think it fits best after the Highway17 level - but it doesnt really matter

Leisure Suit Larry comes to steam ( no pun intended - if you know the game  ;)  )

http://www.kotaku.com.au/2013/01/the-latest-batch-of-steam-greenlight-games-includes-leisure-suit-larry/

Played the early games in this series when I was at Uni.

yes yes yes

i played the first one back in primary school.

i could never get past the hooker part.
i didnt realise you had to put the condom on first, or std was end game.

odd game, but i liked sierra games.

Hey MC!

I think AJ is a big fan of the total war series. I have a few of them but they are such long intense games I can't find time to get back into them.

Been wondering all day if i should buy it at the $10 they want.

Anyone interested in 1/4 for the four pack of Monaco at $45 with me, so $11.25 each.

i dont remmeber if i actually read it or if it was just wishful thinking but i think the dev is considering porting it to the vita which i am interested in.

I am really enjoying some of the indy games that have been released on the vita. I really love sound shapes and i am really enjoying thomas was alone. these games with immersible music just makes it really enjoyable.

Fans have unearthed evidence that HL3, L4D3 and Source 2 are being discussed internally.

I'm a bit out of the loop but apparently steam are doing some type of trading card system for games with a marketplace to buy/sell them. Sounds like a waste of time lol

Also just quietly i'm not a fan of the new layout for people's profiles.....i think you have to sign up for it but i prefer the old look as it doesnt list all the achievements and crap :P

These trading cards are weird and I don't know what they're for. Their bland explanation for them beats me.

Yeah from what i gather only a select few games have trading cards, You get them randomly by playing the game.  I've noticed they added cards to a few games ( bioshock, alan wake) i have recently finished.

Where is gets sketchy is this talk about booster/foil packs and crafting badges that will go on your profile for extra xp. It seems that poeple are actually paying money for these harder to obtain cards which i find amusing.

It seems to be working cause alot of forum posts are talking about it and guys are making enough money to fund some game purchases...Seems to be aimed at the younger kids who are broke ( i used to collect cards when i was a kid)

fwiw i had a geez at the sales at the moment and nothing caught my eye...

It seems Steam have put Fraud Protection on my account which is preventing me from purchasing anymore games. I've sent an email off to get it removed.
