If you need to enter a code to get your $5 credit, then it probably won't work. I had 3 discounts/credits to use once, and could only apply 1 per game. I ended up buying 3 games that day hehe :p

I wrote a long response and then realised that this is one of those situations where a regulator can step in.  It sounds like 2K are trying to mandate the retail price of the product.  As far as I know, from some experiences in the dive industry, this is illegal.  The retailers is allowed to put whatever margin they like on the wholesale price and should be free to do that without interference from the wholesaler.

There is at least one Australian importer of dive equipment who relies on the fact that the stores can't afford to take him to court and will cut supply for anyone that discounts without his permission (may have changed since I have been out of the industry).
