Mostly games 2010 and earlier and if someone is still playing FIFA 08 on the DS, give them an upgrade!

yeah no big losses really.

I'm sure a lot of fanboys will be upset about SW Battlefront and such.

and well, I still know people who play Neverwinter nights

but overall, not too sad to see any of them go

by the sounds of their press release, they just wont support them anymore. so Hax0r's to the Max0rs

The decisions to retire older EA games are never easy.  The development teams and operational staff pour their hearts into these games almost as much as the customers playing them and it is hard to see one retired.  But as games get replaced with newer titles, the number of players still enjoying the older games dwindles to a level -- typically fewer than 1% of all peak online players across all EA titles -- where its no longer feasible to continue the behind-the-scenes work involved with keeping these games up and running.  Were constantly working to keep our games and services available for as long as possible.

This and NWN2 were awesome games but I seriously think it is time for these people to move on.
