Brilliant!!

I suggested this little unit to the clan a while back after I bought mine and I think quite a number of us have it now...It is real easy to set up and can be set up with different profiles for different games which is good if you swap games around all the time..

Using it for FPS games takes some getting used to but after a while you get used to it...It's real useful for RTS games and RPG/MMO games where there tend to be a lot of keys for different things in game..

Let us know if you get stuck with settings..

I absolutely love my Nostromo. I find it so much easier to use than the keyboard. Setting it up is quite easy and the fact that you can set it to change profiles automaticly depending on what program is started is fantastic.

Nostromo is getting an update

I've never used one obviously, but looking at the pic it looks retarded and I have no idea how it could possibly be good lol
I guess it's just one of those contraptions that do actually work since everyone in wpr seems to have them!

All I can say is that, since using mine, I have had a lot less issues with my broken finger on my left hand.  It does take a bit of getting used to though.

They are so much more comfortable than a kb raz, the only issue is you cannot use the d-pad to walk diagonals.

And if you have small hands like me,  button 15 is out of reach, but I just remapped space to the button above the d-pad instead.  I use the d-pad for weapons select, mapped to 1 - 4.

Oh I think I get it now. Do you would program the buttons in the middle of the pad as wsad?

I'm after a decent mouse to replace my crappy Logitech wireless to go with my new rig.

I have been looking at the Logitech g500 for about $65.

Any good?

Other suggestions?

I have the Razer Naga, I like it and with more buttons on it than I can poke a stick at.
That teamed up with the Nostromo and I just about have no need for the keyboard while gaming.

I use a Logitech g600 basically an improved version of razers naga. Check out YouTube reviews and comparisons. It is recommended over the naga but if you have a naga and plan on gaming its not worth it as the naga is still a great mouse.

I also have a nostromo.

And I have a G700 which, along with the Nostromo, again pretty much keeps my hands off the keyboard when I am gaming.  I do need to map some more buttons across to one or the other for far cry 3 (esc. and m)

These look interesting to me. Now that I have a few consoles, If I can buy 1 of these, it will save me from buying multiple controllers (one for each)
